SMS help & support

Need help with With App text messages? SMS is used for verification, late check-in reminders, and missed check-in alerts after consent.

How SMS consent works

  • Invite links are unique to a specific (user, contact) pair.
  • The contact submits the form and then confirms by replying Y to a text message.
  • We only send SMS alerts after the reply-Y confirmation is recorded.
  • Consent activations and opt-outs are logged with timestamps and sources.
  • If location sharing is enabled, alerts may include a map link.

SMS commands

  • STOP — opt out of all With App messages.
  • HELP — receive support info and a link to this page.
  • START — opt back in after opting out.
  • Y — confirm opt-in after an invite link.

  • In-app support chat is available in the With App mobile app.
  • Message frequency varies with your check-in schedule.
  • SMS alerts go only to contacts who have opted in.
  • We do not send marketing messages.
