Messaging consent
With App uses SMS only for account access, check-in reminders, and missed check-in alerts. This page explains how consent is collected and how to manage messaging preferences.
What you are opting into
- Account verification and login codes.
- Late check-in reminders if you miss your scheduled time.
- Missed check-in alerts sent to opted-in contacts you select.
- Opt-in request and confirmation texts after an invite link is accepted.
- No marketing or promotional messages.
How consent is collected
- You verify your phone number during signup with a one-time code.
- Contacts receive a unique invite link tied to a specific (user, contact) pair.
- Invite links require the recipient to confirm their phone number and opt in.
- We send a text message asking the recipient to reply Y to confirm.
- Consent is only activated after the reply-Y confirmation is received.
Consent records & confirmations
- Every opt-in is logged with a timestamp, source, and invite context.
- Invite-link opt-ins trigger a reply-Y confirmation text and a follow-up confirmation.
- Opt-out requests are stored with timestamps and take effect immediately.
- We keep these records for compliance and audit purposes.
Message frequency
- Varies with your schedule and activity.
- Late check-in reminders are sent only if you miss a check-in.
- Contacts receive at most one SMS alert per missed check-in.
- Confirmation messages are sent only when someone opts in.
- Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-out & help
- Reply Y to confirm opt-in after accepting an invite link.
- Reply STOP to opt out of all With App messages.
- Reply HELP for support information.
- Reply START to opt back in after opting out.
